What is the difference between a Nikon 18-55mm 55-200mm VR lens?
What is the difference between a Nikon 18-55mm 55-200mm VR lens?
The numbers in a SLR lens represents the zoom. An 18-55mm has a lower zoom than the 55-200mm lens. However it focuses better at closer distances. If you are comparing the two between which you want to get, think about what you are taking pictures of. If you take more distance photos than close ups, get the 55-200mm. If you get more close ups get the standard 18-55mm. If you are building your own kit I recommend both, unless you have the extra money to get the 18-200mm lens. It is basically both lenses combined.
So the differences between those focal lengths is not obvious?
