Look on E-bay under Nikon N70 camera. You should be able to get a good one for less that $50. Try to get one with a NIKOR lens.

First you need to know you can't shoot a "film" using a dSLR. You will need to rent a 16 mm or 35 mm motion picture camera to do that.

If on the other hand, you want to shoot video, the least expensive cameras with video modes are the Nikon D3100 and Canon T3.

If that is true, you meant to say video instead of "film", don't forget to include the necessary accessories you will need to make a dSLR which is a still camera with video features into a decent video camera.

Since you don't seem to know the difference between film and video let me explain - quickly.
Film is made of a plastic like material with emulsion on it that is sensitive to light. On the other hand
video is shot using a digital camera that is sensitive to light. If you should feel the need to know more there's lots of articles on the web.

The cheapest Canon dslr that'll shoot video, not film, is $600. The Canon t3

My favorite thing about Nikon COOLPIX P300 camera is that I almost never had to use the flash - even at night. It performs on par to a DSLR's low light abilities (yes a bit more grainy, but still quite usable (super fast lens 1.8 I believe). I can't say enough good things about this camera. It's the first point and shoot I actually enjoy using. It's menus are simple, it's easy to use. Ultra compact - fits in your pocket - not like some of the other leading Point and Shoots.
