What is a dslr by nikon similar to canon t2i?

I have nikon lenses but i want a new body that is similar to the t2i but by nikon.

Tough one. Both Nikon and Canon have excellent cameras. It's hard to buy a -bad- Dslr these days. I own a Canon T2i. My brother owns a new Nikon D7000. I use "stock" lenses most of the time. Both of them are made with some plastic and a very light weight. My brothers D7000 with the "stock" lens is quite heavy. I'd say that the D7000 has some additional features that the T2i doesn't be the T2i is better at video (thus my primary reason for going to the T2i.)

If I was you, and I have the little bit extra money, I'd skip the lesser Nikon's and go for the D7000.It's around $1, 300 but it's a WONDERFUL camera and you can work on your arm muscles with it.
