What Fujifilm camera is best for my use?

I currently have a Canon EOS 1100d.
I'm not a professional photographer but i enjoy taking photos
It's really good and I like all of its features. The price was good and I can make use of all the features.

BUT i'm thinking of moving into Fujifilm X series.
Is it a good choice?
can you point out some cams as a suggestion please?
please do not suggest the most expensive one

If you only have one lens with your 1100D, then now is a good time to change systems, before you have a few thousand dollars invested.

If after reading the professional reviews of the Fuji X cameras and know how many lenses are available that you will want in the future and still think that the Fuji X system is for you, go for it.

The cost of the first camera and lens in any system is just the tip of the iceberg, so do your own independent research. It is very easy for me and others to spend YOUR money, but you need to take your time before you make the change.

Just so you know, just buying a new or different camera will NOT automatically make your images any better. As long as you know this, you will not be disappointed with the results from any new camera or camera system you buy

Another place to visit to see how the sensors of various cameras compare is DXOmark.

Can we assume that you have already visiting a camera shop and compared the Fujifilm camera to your own?

EDIT: Just from my quick check of the sensor performance of the Fujifilm XF1, it is not a camera you would pick if you shoot at night or indoors in low light. The low light performance is really dismal.

This link compares the Canon 1100D, NIkon D3300 (both entry level dSLR cameras) to the Hybird Fujifilm XF1

As you can see, Fuji may have more to go with their sensor research before they will be a serious contender. Even the little Nikon 1 series cameras tiny 1 inch sensor out performs the XF1. In low light.

It seems a fair enough direction… I must admit i'm considering something similar…

It's difficult to advise anyone on something like this… You should already have an idea of what you want or need on your camera and once again handle it before making the purchase just to make sure you like the feel/fit

Here's a link to the You Tube reviews on the X20: http://www.youtube.com/...jifilm+x20 try viewing the other Fuji X cameras to see which model takes your fancy and fits your budget… Good Luck!
