It's much easier than that - the FM10 takes 35mm film (I'd suggest 24-exposure 200 or 400 ISO), so just keep an eye out the next time you go shopping.

Ask about processing where you buy the film.

For landscape and nature I use Kodak Ektar ISO 100.

For people pictures I use Koday Portra ISO 400.

I like Fuji brand film, but many like Kodak. Unless you are near an upmarket camera store you maybe have little choice - even 35mm film as used in the FM 10 is not so much used these days. Start with 100 ISO or 200 ISO film unless yo plan to work in dark places.

As a matter of interest - why that particular model of camera?

I photographed weddings for my entire career. And if you want good skin tones then use Fuji film. Give Fuji a call as I'm retired and labels change.

Also search out a good processing lab like: Dale Labs in Florida. More expensive than your corner processor but one heck of a lot better quality. Close close to a pro lab, I use to use.

Processing is like cameras and lenses. Buy a great camera and put a cheap lens on it & what do you have? Buy the best film and get "drugstore" processing and your results are less than satifying.
