Dunno, but the D5100 uses a proprietary Nikon model, the EN-EL14. One is generally included when you buy the camera - along with a charger.

There's no Nikon D51000. There's a 5100 though and that's correct, a Nikon battery. See the Nikon site or other photo sites where the battery is available.
