Suggest Nikon cameras HD photos and videos too?

HD applies only to video, and why only Nikon?

Their DSLRs are no better than those of Canon and Pentax, and they can't shoot video as well as Sony's SLTs.

With anything other than a DSLR, Nikon are nothing to write home about.

All of their current line of DSLRs from the D3200 on up does HD 1080 video. There's not a whole lot of difference between the video performance either. Here's a side-by-side list of a few bodies: http://www.dpreview.com/...ikon_d3200

Nikon cameras are fine but no better or worse than Canon or Pentax. Also there's no such thing as an HD photo - that is strictly a video / television term.

Both the Nikon D3200 and D5200 are great cameras. Read the reviews on them, both professional (dpreview.com and www.steves-digicams.com) and owner reviews (Amazon.com).
