Starting a YouTube channel?

Ok so I love watching YouTube channels like hauls, monthly favourites, reviews, and videos like that! I have a name for my channel, I want to buy a Nikon camera to film with but maybe I could use a digital one, I'm abit worried about people from school seeing them and family but then I thought I could have them in the videos so now I don't mind about that!

Also I'm 14 years of age, is that young? I have seen a lot younger people do the videos, I was thinking of doing cousin tags so my family could be in them! What do you think I would be doing hauls and other vids!

You need to be at least 13 to make a youtube channel so in your case you are old enough. The best way to prevent others from knowing that it's you is to not include your name in the user name or on your profile and not giving out personal information on your profile that is public. But since you changed your mind about i advice you sincerley not to allow people from school to find out about your channel, you know what school kids are like.

Yeah but you won't make any money i would suggest waiting until you are 16 years old because i never subscribe to anyone under at least 16 don't be whiny and nasely if you will start a youtube account right now don't expect a lot of subscibers because we honstely don't care about what you are doing unless you're and adult or late teens
