Self timer and Continuous shooting/Burst mode in Nikon D5200?

I just want to ask if there are any settings for Self timer and continuous shooting. I wanted to take a picture with self timer and burst mode without intervals.

Probably not. To get continuous you have to depress the shutter release and hold it down. Never heard of that kind of setting although if you check your owner's manual you may find something.

The only way you can shoot in the continuous mode as you seem to imply is to use a remote shutter release. It becomes the substitute shutter release and as long as you hold it down, the camera will shoot continuously until the cameras buffer fills or the card becomes full.

No, it is either-or. You can shoot with either the timer or in continuous mode.
