Problem with camera lens?

My camera is a nikon s3000 Digital camera. Every time i turn it on, the lens thing goes back in and says there's a lens problem… I don't know what to do

The best thing to do is contact the manufacturer. Call Nikon 1-800-NIKON-UX (1-800-645-6679).

If the camera is under warranty Nikon will repair it. There's obviously something wrong in the lens mechanism. If it's out of warranty it'll cost you to have repaired.

Be aware the repair may be more expensive than a new camera so you may want to simply get rid of this one and replace it.So, get a repair estimate first.
