Places 13 year olds (almost 14) can work in NYC?
Okay. I'm looking for a way to make money in NYC. I'm already modeling & acting because i enjoy performing, but until that officially takes off (I'm trying to get signed to Wilhelmina like one of my friends, but i'm quite scared lol), i'm looking for small jobs. I can't babysit or make art and sell stuff, my moms drawn the line on THAT one. My schools on the upper west side of Manhattan, & i'm not allowed to commute much without a nanny or one of my mothers workers. I'm on total lock-down. My b-days in February. There are a few bakeries and small boutiques by my school and even like 2 churches. I'm looking for a small job like cleaning or organizing for now. In my school, were allowed to go out during lunch time and i figured i can work during that time. Is it possible i could be hired? I'm very determined and helpful! And quiet! And if so, are there any places on the Upper West Side? I'm trying to learn how to be a little independent and save money to buy my own Nikon! Help! Thanks in advance! ♥
Added (1). I cook & bake! And my math average is a 97! Maybe i can work a register or help at a bakery? I like Magnolia's on Columbus Avenue but AAH i'm trying!
No, your to young. Working age is 16 and a half
At that age, the most likely place you'll have chance of getting a job at is if you family OWNS a family business.
