Nikon SLR Cameras

Photographer's advice please

I'm thinking of getting a new DSLR camera, so I need some recommendations please. I've had my eye on Nikon, but I don't know specifically which one I would like. So if you know any good semi-professional Nikon cameras (or Canon) that would be great. The price doesn't really matter to me, I just want your recommendations, thank you!

• Newly enhanced Guide Mode

This is a semi-professional camera very worthwhile checking out it follows the basic structure of the other D3000 series cameras with all of the same features but updated software.

DSLR D4
• High Picture Quality at 16.2 million pixels
• New FX-format CMOS sensor, EXPEED 3
• ISO 100 to 204800
• Ultimate Speed Continous Shooting at 11fps

This is a professional style nikon I would recommend this over any semi-professional cameras as the ISO sensitivity is amazing, has many more focus options in the software including duo (possibly trio I can't remember) focus, High FPS (frames per second) rate meaning you can take those action and sports shots and get that one that's worth $10000.It has many extra features as well PM me or have a search online if you want more info.

I personally have always stuck with Nikon I think that they are the best and the Nikkor lenses are good quality and relatively cheap compared with other brands.

What are you planning on getting the camera for? (Personal use? Work?) What sort of photos will you be taking? (sports, landscapes, portrait, candid, wedding etc.)

The only two semi-pro Nikon cameras are the D7000 and D800

You may find that the entry level Nikon D3200 will do what you want.

The D7000 costs about $1, 200 without a lens
The D800 costs about $3, 000 without a lens
The D3200 costs about $700 with a 18-55 mm lens

Here is how their sensor compared head to head
