Olympus vs nikon digital camera?

I'm going to ask for a new camera for Christmas and wanted to know which was better… I'm either going to get the olympus camera that is waterproof, shockproof, etc and i believe it is called stylus tough 3000 or the nikon s4000… This is one of the touch screen nikon digital cameras. If anyone has either one of these please leave feedback… Thanks in advance!

I'd go with the Nikon. They make better cameras. I've heard Olympus has repair problems, but have never owner one. I've been with Nikon since 86.

Ohh that's a hard one. Personally I would ask for a nikon, but that's just me. At the end it's your choice, because they both sound good.
