Nokton 35 f1.2 for nikon?
Dear all,
I was looking for a 35 mm lens for my nikon F3 and I found a nice second hand Voigtlander Nokton 35 1.2 (700-750 $)
can I adapt that lens on the nikon mount? And if yes
anything I should take care of? Any recommendations/suggestions?
I seriously doubt you'll be able to find a Voigtlander Nokton M-Bayonet to Nikon F adapter. Even if you do find an adapter you'll be limited to stop-down metering which can be challenging unless all you do is landscape photography.
NOTE: I did a brief search for the adapter you need and all I found was Nikon F to M-Bayonet adapters.
The Nokton's built for a rangefinder - so it doesn't need the retrofocus design of an SLR lens. It would either foul the mirror or be placed so far forward that it'd be almost impossible to focus.
In your shoes, I'd go for a 28mm as a wideangle anyway.
