Nikon warranty service UK?

So my mum brought me a nikon camera for my birthday and it came with 2 year warranty because i registered on their website. HOWEVER my camera needs repairing… And she lost the receipt. And all they need is PROOF for date of purchase. What can i do? Could the fact that i registered on their website provide proof that I purchased it. I really need it repaired before i go on holiday.

That's what registration is supposed to be for. Contact them, giving the date of registration and see what happens next.

If your camera was dropped or abused, the warranty won't cover it anyway.

In the UK, if she bought the camera by card, there should be an entry on her statement detailing the purchase. By UK law this is sufficient.

if she can remember the exact date it was bought, most retailers can find it on their cash register (the time of day too, will be good as hundreds of transactions go through)

Try Nikon anyway as you should have provided proof when you returned your warranty
