Nikon or Canon? Which is usually better?

Referring to DSLR cameras, what is better- Nikon or Canon? I'm speaking generally now… I know there are many models, but in general what is better? And WHY?

Plus, could you please explain to me the difference between fx format and dx format?

For small digital camera canon is better. For small digital camers more preferable will be sony… For heavy photography nikon is bst…

They are pretty much equals. The deciding factor if you are buying for the first time should be how the camera feels in your hands.

Dx format is cropped frame, fx is full frame.

Canon uses a slightly smaller sensor than NIKON, resulting in the 1.6x crop factor instead of a 1.5x

Look, you think it's just that simple? Someone says here Nikon, someone Canon, who is correct? It's not like the camera takes pictures, it's you. If a camera is great but you have no talent, none will help you.

It depends on which model you compare, none is just better. Whoever says Canon is better for one thing, or has nicer colors, has absolutely no clue about photography.

FX and DX is at Nikon, FX is Full Frame (same size as film), while DX is a bit smaller. It's FF (full frame) and APS-C (almost the same as DX) at Nikon.
