Nikon or Canon? Thoughts please?

I'm looking at buying a better camera than what I have right now. I'm looking at Digital SLRs & I just wanted to know what your thoughts on which type is better & what you use.

Look at these models:

Nikons D3100, D5100
Canons T3, T1i, T2i, T3i

The entry level models are mostly the same from each brand. Go to the store and find out which one you like the feel of better and buy that one.

Type? They're both brands and none is better. I use Canon, someone uses Nikon. That doesn't help at all. The most important thing is that we all use both!
