The Nikon IS real, but are the Canon dslrs actually coming out or are these just what people want, cause they're all over "canonrumors.com". And of so, when are they coming out? Canon has released the Pro 1dx and the 5d mark iii. For the entry level they have the (t4i/650d). When are the new midranged cameras coming out? People were saying August of 2011 to be announced but it's now August of 2012 and still no announcements! I'm looking to get a entry level full frame like the d600 and supposably the 7d mark ii.

There are three new Nikon cameras that represent the next generation of dSLR's from Nikon.

D3200, D800 and D4 The D800 and D4 are the only dSLR's that can shoot video uncompressed.

The new Canon T4i/650D has burst the bubble of under $1, 000 limit for an entry level camera, so it is difficult to consider it a true "entry level" camera.

The date of release for any of the proposed cameras is unknown, both Canon's and Nikon's.
Only time will tell. Since my current cameras are doing the job for me, I'm not anxious to spend another $12, 000 to replace them.

@fhotoace You must be referring to the kit price of the t4i ($1, 200) because the body only price of the t4i is not above $1, 000, it's only $850.

Edit: actually $1, 200 is the price of the more expensive kit option, the 18-135 STM. There's even another kit available that includes an 18-55 and goes for $950.
