Nikon D5200 Live out?

So I just found out my Nikon d5200 does not support live out, where I can view an additional LCD hooked up to it while recording. Do you think there's something else I could possibly try? I'm ready to upgrade cameras for filming, what are your recommendations?

Your camera has NOTHING to do with film.

LiveView? It's standard with digital camcorders which are by the way, the right tool for recording videos.

Are you sure about this? See page 147 in the manual at the bottom of the page where it states that an external HDMI monitor can be used whilst recording.

BTW, camcorders are much easier to use if you do lots of video work.
