Nikon 1 J1 shutter priority setting?
Vdena
I just got a Nikon 1 J1 and I'm having some trouble with the shutter priority setting, it takes completely black pictures unless the flash is always on. Even in the day time. So I'm wondering if there's a way to set it up so it dosent take black pictures without the flash being on.

Try setting a more moderate shutter speed ( the reciprocal of your ISO).
1/2000th of a second looks impressive, but you'll use it once in a blue moon. 1/250th is much more likely to produce usable results.
