My Nikon D 3200 gives dark pictures. I hate using bigger flash on it. My D 40 was better?
Is there anyway I can get clear picture in my D 3200. I take pictures in the auto position. I wait for focus ready. Still I get slightly darker pictures. My D 40 has no problem like this. Is there any solution?
Faster lens, higher ISO. Are you using the kit lens? Try the 35mm or 50mm f/1.8. They're cheap.
The solution is to use your cameras light meter
Get out of the Auto mode. You have a fully adjustable camera and you paid good money to be able to adjust the lens aperture, shutter speed and ISO.
Balancing them is up to you.
I'm surprised you did not learn how to do this when using your D40
Turn EV up a bit or shoot under well lighted conditions. Better yet, learn photography.
