My camera flash is smoking.why?
I have had my nikon camera for 5 years, and i'm in a photography calss now and me teacher told me to put my camera on Manual. So i did and i have never had it in Manual and i have been playing around with it today and my camera started getting hot and my flash was smoking.dose my camera need to be cleaned or is there something really wrong? Its never done this before, its a Nikon P5100
Uh… A camera flash should *never* smoke. Sounds like something fried.
Have you been taking pictures of any smoking hotties?
In Manual mode, the camera is finally free to do what it wants. It chose to light up a cigarette. There's not much you can do. In as short as a few minutes, the camera may croak its last breathe as it dies from lung cancer. Start shopping for a new camera now.
Since it's taken up a bad habit, obviously you need to get it some of that Nikkorette gum…
It's broken. Dump it before it blows up in your face.
I suggest you call Nikon and see what they say. 800-NIKON-UX They will know if it's serious or not.
Unlike the comedians on here! LOL
