Looking for free Photoshop software thats simple to use?

I'm looking for a FREE software, that is easy to use where i can soften the picture. I don't want anything to complicated, just someting simple and gets the job done, the pics i'm using are gonna be face shots from a regualr nikon s3000 digital camera. I just want some pics to be a little photoshopped.

as it's free you haven't got anything to lose, give it a try if you don't like it you can always un-install it

Paint.net - is another free download, more user-friendly and easier to learn than Gimp, which can be quite 'tricky' to use, especially for a first time user or novice to photo editing.
