I'm looking for a camera that won't make my pics look all digital and cheapy because I love to take pics and have done graduation photos for friends before. One of my friends recently asked me to take her engagement and wedding photos and well I don't think my Canon PowerShot SX210IS is going to get the job done! I'm currently looking at this http://www.amazon.com/...004V4IWKG/ But I want all the bang I can get for my buck ( Camera, Lens, Extras)! Please Help! PS: I'd like not to spend anymore than $800!

I really don't think you are going to find a decent camera for a wedding at that price range.

First, for a wedding, having two cameras is essential.

Second, an inexpensive camera lens is going to cost at least $1, 200. Even if you found inexpensive cameras for a wedding for $1, 000 each, you will still need $2, 400 for the lenses.

The best thing you can do is to rent a nice pair of DSLR cameras for the weekend. You can easily rent two cameras and two lenses for less than $500 per day.

This is what I bring to a typical wedding:

Two Canon 5Dmkii's
Two Canon 7D's
Canon 20D IR
Canon 1V
Bronica GS-1

That is $12, 000 worth of camera bodies, not including the $7, 000 worth of lenses.

Canon EOS Rebel T2i is very small and light. It is not weather-sealed or as durable as some of the more expensive SLRs, but it doesn't "feel cheap" in my opinion. It features a 3-inch LCD (compared to the Rebel XS's 2.5 inch screen), which also has a very high resolution. It looks lovely! Auto-focus is fast, and I've been very pleased with the quality of the pictures and videos I've taken so far.
