Which lenses and camera for short films?

I was just wondering which lenses and camera should I get, as i'm stuck choosing them for making short films, music videos, may be you could help.
Now I have nikkor 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.8, Carl zeiss 50mm 1.4
I probably will get cropped sensor camera as its so cheap - 600D (altho I'm hesitating between 5d ii, but I will get camera man when filming and they normally have there own cameras, so not sure… )
And was thinking of getting 21mm, 35mm Carl Zeiss ZF lenses, have them cine modified, but they are a bit expensive, for getting them I have to "sell my kidneys"
Is it actually ok to shoot 1 film with vintage nikon+carl zeiss mixed? Like wide angle shots all with nikon and close ups with zeiss. Zeiss has more cine look, wich I'm after, I do not want to have video look, at all!
Shell I just get 28mm to my 50mm zeiss and 20mm nikkor and it will cover pretty much, but I'm not sure if its ok mixing them in 1 project.

This is a no brainer for me… I would suggest either the Canon 600d or even better would be the Panasonic Lumix GH1 and it's kit lens the 14-140mm lens. Of course the GH2 is now available, making the GH1 so much cheaper, especially second hand! Purchasing a 50mm f1.4 lens is also a good idea for whatever camera you choose, because it produces a wonderful bokeh in the footage!

I personally own 2 GH1's and a Canon 550d, I was so impressed by the quality produced by the GH1 it is the reason I bought a second one!

To show you the kind of quality produced by the GH1, check out this video short by Phillip Bloom, a guy who over the past few years has been championing the use of dslr's in film making!
