Nikon AF Nikkor 28-80mm f/3.3-5.6G lens?

I'm looking at purchasing this lens! I just wanted to know a bit more about it.

I've got one and I can tell you that's it's inexpensive, but a fairly good performer. I've stopped using since I've gotten other lenses that cover that range and more (18-200mm VR) or are faster (17-50mm f/2.8 and 70-200mm f/2.8)

Nikon AF Nikkor 28-80mm f/3.3-5.6G lens is a very good lens. I'm new to the SLR camera. I use this lens on a Nikon D50.It produces very good pictures. I have read other articles of people complaining because it being made of plastic. It has a very good feel and it is not heavy to hold. I have taken pictures at the 28 level to the 80 zoom and all look very professional. You will not go wrong if you purchase this lens. Once you take the first picture and review the quality, you will know you have a winner
