I have a Nikon camera. Are tamron lenses good quality?

In my experience no. I own a Tamron 18-200 and it has issues - focus and aberration so I don't recommend the brand at all.

Some seem to have pretty good luck with the brand but based on personal experience I shy away from Tamron and always recommend you buy lenses made by the maker of your camera… In this case Nikon.

Most of my lenses are Nikon, but I do have a couple of Tokina lenses. In a few cases, Tokina lenses rival Nikon's lenses. I draw the line there. I don't own Sigma or Tamron lenses.

While some like them, I have never been too impressed by either of those brands.
