I bought a Nikon F501 and need advice for what lens to get?

I just bought a Nikon F501 but I have no idea what lens to get for it!
I'm looking for everyday usage, nothing too far and nothing too close, i.e. Nothing too extravagant!
Any suggestions for lenses? I've had a look at the following ones but I'm not sure which one to rather buy? Suggestions welcome!

Either of those will work. What's your budget? This will go a long way in helping you decide.

If I recall, the Nikon F501 is an auto-focus camera.

What lenses you need to buy must be AF or AF-S and an FX lens (full frame)
