I'm having diffuculty to decide which one to buy. A 32 inch LED TV, or a 35mm prime lens?

I'm planning to buy a nikkor 35mm 1.8G prime lens in addition to my arsenal. While I'm at the mall, I saw this Devant 32inch LED TV. Now I'm starting to decide which one to buy with the budget I have. Please help justify.

Added (1). My first priority actually was the prime lens since I'm into photography. But I also realized I need a TV as well.since I don't have a TV in my room. I only use my desktop computer to watch movies and episodes. What really got me in considering the Devant LED TV is they are on sale!

Devant TVs are basically lowest common denominator TVs.

If your thing is sitting on the couch being a potato, don't buy the TV. Buy a better TV like a Samsung.

I'm a very amateur photographer and I like good lenses. But the general advice for photo gear is: Don't buy it unless you have a specific use in mind for it. 35mm would be medium wide angle on a full frame camera, 50mm equivalent on most crop sensors (which makes a nice portrait lens). F1.8 is a very nice fast lens and good for depth of field shots. If you intend to shoot a lot of DOF shots at that focal length very soon, absolutely buy the lens. If you just want it because it seems like a thing that most photographers should have in their bag, then don't.

Just BUY A 26 inch HD TV they are just the right size and have less problems and will last a long time Bigger ain't better and cost wise you are further ahead.
