Itz about DSLR cameras?
Nikon d5200 is an Advanced entrylevel dslr camera, where Canon EOS 60d is a Semi-pro dslr camera.Since Semi-pro dslr cameras are better than entrylevel dslr cameras, when i compared these two cameras in many sites Nikon d5200 is superior than semi-pro Canon EOS 60d. Then what is the difference between Semi-pro camera & Entrylevel dslr camera?
A semi-pro dSLR has a metal chassis and environmental seals to keep dust and moisture out of the camera
That said, for some reason, Canon did not include a metal chassis nor did include environmental seals on the 60D. The Canon 50D did and so does the 70D. Using that criteria, most Canon shooting pros would use either the 50D or 70D as their APS-C sensored camera when on a shoot using their Canon 1D X if they did not need to spend the extra for the Canon 7D, the professional APS-C sensored camera
The Nikon semi-pro dSLR is the Nikon D7100 and it has the seals and a metal chassis.
As far as image quality, you can't say that a semi-pro camera is a better camera. At present All dSLR cameras are very capable of producing brilliant images. What the depends upon it the competence of the user.
Just for grins, here is how the Nikon D5200, Canon 60D and Nikon D7100 sensors compare when it comes to performance.

Does the Canon 60D have a better performing sensor than the D5200? Nope
Does the Canon 60D protect the cameras insides better than the D5200? Nope
How does the Canon semi-pro 60D compare to Nikon's semi-pro D7100?
I'm sure you have enough information to draw your own conclusions.
I don't like the term 'Semi-Pro'… It sounds like something that was invented just to impress girls?
I tend not to use comparisons when choosing cameras… It's more important (for me) how a camera feels and behaves when it's in my hands… I love Pentax cameras although i'm using Nikons D7100 and D5100 these days…
The D5100 gets used most of the time simply because I can't get over just how impressive the quality is from such an inexpensive camera… It's fun and fairly simple to use… More importantly it delivers exactly what I look for from a camera.
The D7100 offers the advantage of twin sd slots for me and is my choice if i'm on a demanding shoot… The extra features and spec's of the D7100 are wasted on me because I shoot in manual mode and focus manualy too… It's important to know what features and specifications you would actually use there isn't any point paying for features that you never use… And some of the newer spec like touchscreen, Wi-Fi and GPS just doesn't interest me…
