Is this a grammatically correct? - 2

"The Nikon 105mm was probably good lens when it was made in Japan (2006-2008), but since Nikon moved the production to China the lens is worse. I'm going to recover the money then buy a Tokina lens."

Try this, just a few tweaks

The Nikon 105mm was a good lens when it was manufactured in Japan between 2006 and 2008, however when the production was moved to China the lens is now of lesser quality. I'm going to recover the money in order to purchase a Tokina lens.
