Is there anyway to make the Nikon DF do video? Atomos?
Couldn't you record live view somehow. Hook it up to an atomos? Isn't there an HDMI out on the camera. There must be someway to hack the camera software or override it.
NO
There's NO video feature on the Df.
It is one of its charms as as well is its ability to use All Nikkor lenses including the old non-ai lenses made prior to 1977 and its D4 sensor. These features make it the perfect camera for shooters (not wannabe videographers) who have old Nikon camera systems usually inherited from their fathers and grandfathers.
From your question, it seems that you are looking for a D4 for the same cost of the Nikon D800. If your budget for a new camera is under $3,000 and you want video, just buy the D800 and be done with it.

- Is there anyway to geo-tag my photos taken on a Nikon D3000 without a computer?
- Is there anyway to force advance the film on a Nikon F70 camera?
