OMG YES! I have the white one (got it for my Birthday in November) and two lenses (The double Zoom Kit). The photo quality is amazingly clear HOWEVER, it isn't exactly 'hand bag size', AND it doesn't automatically turn on flash. You have to flick a switch for it to come up:/
Other than that, i love it.

Well there has been quite a lot of discussion about this camera, after the three year wait, a load of people were shocked to find that the sensor was very small compared to other models. However, never the less, I've still ordered one because the genera consensus is that the image quality is still superior to many cameras with larger amounts of megapixels. The Nikon 1 system cameras have a lot of very creative modes such as super slow motion video recording, motion snapshot and time lapse and therefore I would recommend buying one for someone who maybe has a family, our someone who wants to expand their knowledge of photography and experiment with the creative modes it has to offer. However if you want the camera for just shooting reasons, I would recommend the Sony Nex 7 as in reality it does give you a little bit more for your money.

Hope this helps.

It is well made from what I see.
It does not, however, compare well with the Sony NEX range for image quality.
It is probably much smaller because it has a tiny sensor.
Check out the NEX range first.

There have been some reviews:

Using a slightly smaller sensor than other EVIL cameras, some seem to have a little advantage in image quality. The Nikon gains some advantage in compactness, and apparently some significant advantage in video features.

Compared to what? On image quality the following applies.

Vs.a compact camera, it's easily going to outperform the rivals.

Against similar cameras (e.g. The Sony NEX, and MFT), it's in the middle. Better than a Pentax Q, but worse than a NEX, MFT or Samsung NX.

Compare to a DSLR or a DRangefinder, well that's no competition, the DSLR or DRangefinder wins hands down every single time.
