I want a 'good' camera, not too heavy like DSLRs?

Maybe like the Nikon 1 j1? I know its like £300:(
or the OLYMPUS PEN EP1 DSLR
i don't know. I don't want one that is too heavy or complaicated.

I'd pass on the Nikon 1. You'll be more happy with the Nikon P100, or what-ever is the current Nikon bridge camera. Just make sure it has a view finder that you can look through.

If you want good photos, then you need to learn how to use a sophisticated camera, it's the only way.
I would say the E-P1 is better than a J1, but you should consider Sony's NEX and Samsungs NX cameras because they use larger sensors. Canon's G1x is an interesting contender. If you want the best the Fujifilm X-Pro 1 is head and shoulders above the rest and priced accordingly.
- Nikon 24-70 f/2.8 too heavy?
- I'm looking for a DSLR camera to buy.not too pricey. I like nikon and canon?
- Too much camera too soon?
- How big/ Heavy is the Nikkor 55-300mm vr lens?
- Do you think touch screen cameras like the Nikon D5600 make cameras like the Nikon D5 look like 70's computers without the mouse?
