Holding a bridge camera?
So I plan on buying a Nikon cool pix p500, a bridge camera, would I hold it just like how I'd hold a dslr camera? I don't wanna look like a fool holding it wrong.
Hold it any way you want…
In the end its the photo that matters…
Right hand holding the right end grip, left hand wrapped under the lens area. And use the view finder and the neck strap.
The more you can hold it like a DSLR, the more stable it will be. Tuck your elbows into your chest for maximum stability.
Holding a camera out at arm's length like you have to do with a typical compact camera makes it harder to prevent camera shake; which results in blurry photos.
