Any recommendations for a good camera for my daughter for christmas
Hey guys could you recommend a good quality camera (NIKON, CANNON etc. ) just tell me a good model of it but it must be reasonable prices no more then 500-600 and could you recommend a good add on lens?
Fujifilm Finepix S4250 - it's a bridge camera that costs a lot less than your projected budget, but will allow her to take casual snapshots or explore serious photography, just throw in a couple of sets of Ni-Mh batteries and a charger, as well as a couple of SD cards.
Anything comparable made by Canon (only one, 'N,') or Nikon won't be any better thAn a Fujifilm, but will cost more. Anything by those two that costs less won't be as good.
Yes by the way a Cannon is a weapon of war… A Canon is a camera.
The t3 is an excellent dslr camera at about $550 with a kit lens
Since it sounds as if your daughter has no experience with dslr cameras then I'd recommend you don't buy an additional lens at this time. If she's serious and really wants to learn to operate a dslr and its lens, the 18-55 will do that.
If it turns out she's not really serious and uses this fine camera as a pocket toy… You know, use the screen as a view finder and run the camera on full auto all the time, I'd suggest you get her a bridge or pocket toy… Because unless people are serious about photography a dslr is a waste of money.
