Help Choose New Camera?

I can get either a GE X5 Digital Zoom Camera or a Fujifilm S1600 Finepix Digital Camera. Which would be better? I can't afford a dslr camera:\ but what's the difference between those and a dslr?

Buy the Fujifilm S1600 or the Fujifilm S1800. Fuji products have a longer reputation for quality photo cameras than GE. I don't know wear your located as your site did not recognize our (USA) zip code.
But if you use amazon.com check out the Fuji S1800.It's being offered at a great price! $152.00 US. Dollars.
