Good mics for recording audio on computer?
I'm making videos on my computer using smooth draw and recording it but i want to record my audio with it. Are there any recommendations for a mic that is compatable with a computer. And how to get my laptop to record this.
i have about £100 to spend on it i want good mp3 sound.
is this compatable
Nikon ME1 Stereo Microphone
do you have any other sugestions. It needs to be clean sound.
No. That Nikon ME1 Stereo Microphone is for Nikon DSLR cameras, not for computers. Get the Blue Microphones Yeti, it is excellent and would be perfect for your purpose. Records great sounds with lots of clarity and has a very good frequency rate. These microphones are designed for computers and are plugged in the USB port and ready to use. Just buy along with it, the Tiger Pop Screen with Large Pop Filter. You can see the mic as well as the Pop filter at the links below:

NB: The pop filter is not a compulsory equipment to get, but is surely a huge plus for quality recording as it helps to refine the sounds that goes in to your microphone
If recording straight onto your computer you should probably get a USB microphone, such as this;

- Does the Nikon wide 5x zoom has good audio when recording?
- Audio out of TV (headphone jack) into Nikon D3300 audio in for video?
- Digital SLR For Pictures and Video & Audio recording?
- Audio not playing over computer?
- I recently bought the Canon Rebel T6 (1300D) DSLR for recording my videos for YouTube and it always stopped recording around 11 to 12 minute?
