Good camera for macro photos from Nikon or Canon?
I shoot a lot of plants and other details. I'm looking for a camera around 500 dollars/400 euros that allows me to take good macro photos. Any ideas?
Sony cameras are very good.
I'm guessing you want an all in one for that price, because it doesn't allow you to buy a DSLR and then a macro lens for it.
The Canon SX40 HS is the latest and greatest top of the line bridge camera. The Nikon P500 is the next runner up. If those are too high in the budget for you look at the SX30 IS
I don't think you're looking for a dslr because you won't get a dslr camera as well as the lens for that price. So i'll suggest the Canon SX40 HS which is a bridge camera. It has recently been released and has surely proved to be a great camera. Its features includ 12.1MP high resolution CMOS sensor, 35x zoom lens, 2.7" wide vari-angle LCD display, high speed burst shooting @ 8fps, 1080p full HD video with stereo Sound and optical image stabilizer for sharp pix.
Its a good investment and would be great for the pictures you need. Read this review to help you:
