What does the 2 year Nikon warranty cover?

Does anyone know what exactly the Nikon 2 year warranty covers?

Manufacturing defects

Abuse is not covered; which would mean dropping your camera etc. Is not covered.

The same as a one year warrenty.

In addition you will have the opportunity to purchase an additional year which will allow you to receive a three year warranty. This three year warranty will have the added benefit of covering you for accidental damage and theft for the whole three years of the warranty.

The warranty covers defects in manufacture. It doesn't cover abuse or misuse. You can't drop it in the sand at the beach ot pour a keg of beer on it.
I'm wondering why you bought a pro level camera?

Manufactuer's warranty covers any fault due to the manufacturer. I. E. Any fault not caused by the user.
