My Nikon d1x is giving me black inages in the playback viewer?

When i take a picture then go to view it its all black i can go outside and take one and the sky is a little lighter but everything else is solid black?

How do the image files look on your computer?

If they too are black, then you are grossly underexposing the images. Is the light meter working or rather are you using the light meter?

Have your camera checked at the duly authorized service center of your camera.
