Lens suggestions for Nikon D700?

I just bought a used (Like New) Nikon D700 (only had 085 Shutter count) with 2 SB-700 (like New) and MB-D10 Battery grip(Like New) for $2400.
After the purchase I have about $800-1000 Since I can't afford a Nikon 24-70 or 70-200
I was thinking of getting the Sigma 24-70 2.8, 70-200 2.8 HSM II and a Nikon 50 1.8G as my set up till I can afford the Nikon Glass.
what would you guys and gals suggest?

I'd definitely go for the 50mm f/1.8. Personally I'd rather get a 35mm f/1.8 than a zoom lens as it's the normal/standard lens for your camera. The 18-55mm would also be good for me since I'd prefer the wide end more than a longer tele end. When going tele, I'm more comfortable with 300mm to 500mm since when I shoot far, they really are very far. If I can walk the distance, I'd rather go take at close distance.

28mm, 50mm and either a 135mm or a 70-210mm zoom.
That's what most of us started out with in the days of real cameras.
