How to tether with Nikon D2H?

I have Nikon capture control 2 and a usb wire to connect my camera to PC how can I tether the 2? It says " No camera was detected " is this the correct wire?

It's actually a cable not a "wire" but that's alright.

If you have installed the Nikon software and it has tether capability, you should be able to see the camera on the screen. Some of this software won't teather so remember that.

I'd suggest some homework. Read your software manual to find out.

Not all cameras have tethering ability.

The best thing to do is contact Nikon at 1-800-NIKON-UX (1-800-645-6689) and ask if it is possible with your camera and if so how.
