FOR PEOPLE WHO KNOW ABOUT CAMERAS?

I'm thinking of getting the nikon 1 j1 for christmas. I'm not a professional photagrapher, and this camera will never be used for anything professional.however, i don't want just a "normal" camera i want it to take above average quality pictures. I was considering the nikon 1 j1 because 1. Its cute 2.it seems to be a decent price that would actually take good quality photos 3.is small so i would take it more places.

i really want to start pictures.
however, one thing i NEED in a camera is i want to quickly take the picture. So i can 3 pictures one right after other instead of waiting for it to clear and get ready to take another shot. The nikon 1 j1 does do that, right?

I take it from the questions asked that you are incapable of reading and understanding the camera's specification. Because that is where the answers to your question are.

The J1 will shoot in continuous mode at 5 frames per second… So in answer to your question yes it will do what you wish for.
