Will nikon repair my camera for free?

I have a red scratch on my nikon d90 sensor, i was wondering if nikon will repair this problem for free. I have no warranty on my camera.

No they will not and no manufacturer would either. A scratch like you describe, sounds like it came from misuse. And that is not covered under warranty.
