Will a Sandisk 16GB 60MB/s Extreme Compact Flash Card fit in a nikon d3100?

I'm looking for a memory card that is at least 16GB with a speed of 60mb/s for my nikon d3100. Will it fit in the memory card slot?

I will, but unless you are shooting strictly video, that is far to large a card. Try using a couple of 4 gb cards instead. I doubt you will fill them in on days shooting

No… You can't use CF cards in the D3100. You can only use SD, SDHC or SDXC memory cards.
I recommend a Class 10 card… The Sandisk Extreme SDHC (30MB/s). A 60MB/sec card is overkill for the D3100.

Your D3100 takes SDHC, that is a CF card.
