Will a Nikon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AF-S G II Lens work with a Nikon d3000?

I know that on amazon the D3000 comes with a 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S DX VR lens and the 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AF-S G II Lens is typically used on the D40, But I'm wondering if the lens would work with a d3000.

Yes, all functions of the lens are supported
as long as the lens is an AF-S or AF-I lens, all functions are supported on all entry level model cameras from Nikon

Yes, any Nikon AF-S lens will work perfectly with your camera. Those Nikon lenses that have AF their name but not AF-S will mount on it as well, but won't autofocus (they need the camera to have an autofocus motor, but the D3000 doesn't have one, it depends on the autofocus motor in the lens that the AF-S lenses have.)

Yes Nikon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AF-S G II Lens works on all nikon dslr cameras.
