Which should I take with me on my trip to winter camp?

This Christmas, I got an iPad 2 and a Nikon d5100 DSLR camera with two lenses and I'm not sure which to being with me. I know I'm going to get bored, so I want to take the iPad with me, but I could also take beautiful shots with my new camera. My mom said I can't take both, so I'm going to have to pick one. Which should I pick?

Ipad, the ipad has a camera and it works fine for me, not as good as a professional camera, but it will also keep you occupied.
