My girlfriend is super passionate about pictures, so i've gotten her a Nikon D3100 (i think) and also adifferent lense than the one it came with and now we added a nikon PS800 (i think)… Anyways, she wants photoshop… She's still an amateur photographer but well she wants it… Any ideas on which one to buy? Also, are there like, add-ons, or expansion packs lol? Help me out please she's on my buns about it!

I have a D3100 and a D7000
I have adobe CS4 but I like Nikon Capture NX2 better

It's great for beginners because it is so simple to use and it is a professional quality software

"I want a photoshop"

What you're looking for is called an image "editing" (i.e.manipulation) program, not "a" photoshop.
Adobe makes the only product called Photoshop, and it costs about $600.00.

A more sensible choice might be Photoshop Elements, which is Photoshop's smaller cousin - can't do all the same things, but it is much cheaper and perfectly adequate for most people.

Another editing program you can get is the Gimp (free and legal). It isn't pretty, has a big learning curve, but is a great program.http://www.gimp.org/

Or you can go to these free websites: http://www.picture2life.com/ or http://fotoflexer.com/. If you want something more capable, try http://www.sumopaint.com/web/ or http://pixlr.com/

P.S. Questions about such websites or programs get asked countless times every single day on here. Type "editing websites" into the search box and get literally thousands of answers right away. Perhaps you might like to try it some day?

For the vast majority of people Photoshop Elements 10 would be would be more than they ever need. It is a good program that allows Plug-Ins (add-ons). Cost is about $100.

Another option would be Photoshop Lightroom which for photography alone is a great program which is used by many professional photographers. It also allows plug-ins. Cost is a bit more at about $250.

Lastly you have Photoshop CS5 which is the best of the best in photo editing and graphic design software. It is quite costly and is probably more than she will ever need. It also has a very steep learning curve. It can take years to learn how to fully use it. Cost is about $900
