Which is better.for a DSLR?

I'm choosing between a Nikon D3100 or a Canon 500D… Which is better in terms of performance…

i regretted buying nikon the day i bought it. I bought nikon d40x in grade 9 when i won a competition, and my friend soon bought cannon eos350d, which was supposedly iferior to the d40x. But i was amazed by the quality of the pictures, and evrything, iclding the controls, lenses, and the esy availbiluity of lenses. So i suggest you go in for cannon!

Equal. 99% of cameras are better than 99% of photographers. To start, you should find out what cameras your family and friends use. The reason for this is because they will most likely have lenses that you can borrow from time to time. Your main investment will be in lenses. The good news is that these will last the longest too.

The best things to do is… You go to the camera shop and try both camera and see which one is best for you… Cause those two product has advantage and disadvantage… You should try a few shot and compare it then decide which one!
